As I went to Palma in November, all the Germans were gone and the beach and bars were empty - I loved it!!!! But I will definitely come back to experience the drinking excesses at Ballermann, heheh!!!

The night life there is pretty awesome we all ways managed to consume enough alcohol and meet ladies. This is a perfect spring break type of place. And the women are beautiful too!!! None, wear what you want
I spent all my nights at Playa...
I spent all my nights at Playa de Palma. There are a lot of pubs and disco-pubs there, but be careful there are many German pubs where you can only speak German!It seems a colony!
People are really friendly and you can meet boys and girls from over the world! There are many places where you can come in free...most for girls, of course.
I think the nightlife was...
I think the nightlife was great! There was plenty of night clubs and bars in playa de palma. If you are going to go out to the clubs, drink before to go out because in some of the clubs the drinks are a bit high. Most of the clubs don't really get busy until midnight anyway. For alot of the clubs jeans and a nice shirt is ok but I would say dress a bit nicer than that.
Playa de Palma Nova
Which beach shall I choose? Peaceful and secure ? Why not one of the many calas? We went to Cala D'Or - Very good. But the young folks wanted animation!
We moved to Palma Nova - very good (for them!), taking advantage of our hotel's situation half way from Palma Nova and Magalluf

Riu Festival
I'm off to the Riu Festival (Playa de Palma) in a few weeks time and can't seem to find many reviews. The Riu hotels are normally excellent, but unsure why there are so few reviews.
Any info would be appreciated.

Palma Nova and MAgalluf are touristic places in Calvià Municipality.
El Arenal/Playa de Palma are located in the Palma Municipality. This ones are closest to Gomila.
I guess you are referring to a "nigth life" zone also known as "Paseo Maritimo" is a neighbourhood of Gomila. You can book in "Hotel Bellver".

Hi people from Mallorca,
please help me about the closest hotel to El Terreno, because I heard that it is the best place for night life on Palma.
I only know that it is west from the capital, so I need you to tell me which is the closest part to this area:
Palma Nova, El Arenal, Playa de Palma, Magaluf because local agents here offer this places.

Hello. If you want to know "nigth life" you can choose "hotel Bellver" is located in the middle of the "paseo Marítimo" (4 stars). You can choose another hotel near this one if you find it very expensive.In "Paseo Marítimo" you can find a lot of local people living "nigth life" in the other locations you will find more tourists.
If you want "nigth life" in Palma you must take an hotel in "Paseo Maritimo" or behind. You will find good accommodation in "Jaime III" or "La lonja" booth near the cathedral.
The closest Part to "Paseo Marítimo" is "El Arenal- Playa de Palma" is the same think (Not 2 different places). You can find a lot of "nigth life" in the "Arenal".
"Magalluf" and "Palma Nova" are 2 very closest places. And they have "nigth life" too.
"El Arenal- Playa de Palma", "Magalluf" and "Palma Nova" are very similar environments and they have beach near every hotel. "Paseo Maritimo" can offer a "day life" more interesting but they don't have beaches near.
