"Brut" rice or "dirty rice"
by russian_yaz
"Brut" means dirty on mallorquin language. They call brut this plate because they used whatever the season gives to prepare it.
Is a delicious plate, full with various vegetables, tomatoes, peppers, parsley and many others depending on the season. They used various kind of meat too, ram, porc, doves and others....just in any place U can ask for this dish, U'll not regret it!

This luxury night-club was opened in 1923. During the next following decades, many celebrities (Marlene Dietrich, Ray Charles, Charles Aznavour, Diana Ross) were delighting night after night the massive audience of the club. Nowadays the sparkling high-rise building of Tito's is showing its majestic silhouette shining over all the limelights of the beautiful mediterranean boulevard of Palma bay. After being re-decorated, it turned into a trendy brand new discotheque with all the latest technological items, splited in 3 different levels with a V.I.P. lounge and six bars. Palma Cathedral - Interior
by pugwashman
The interior of Palma Cathedral is definitely worth seeing. It costs 3.5 Euros to get in.
The main attractions for me were the massive rose windows at either end.
When we were there the sun was streaming through them and the pews were lit up in a kaleidoscope of different colours.
There are lots of different sections to see, and many sections have been designed by different architects such as Gaudi who re-designed the nave.
Walking in the coastline
by russian_yaz
Between Palma and Arenal there is a long coastline with few bars and cafes. Is mostly for walking and enjoying the sunset. At susnset is great, there are some places to stop and take a rest. There is a cafe, El peon, from here U´ll cath very good view of the city under sunset. About 2 km after this cafe U´ll find an amazing spot to see the planes taking off. When they pass above the beach, they are only around 200mt from the sea level...so try it, U´ll not regret it.
