Streets of Palma
by NunoF
On the travelogues you can see one called "Streets of Palma de Mallorca", where I put some pictures that I took, but since I don't remember the name of many of the places, if you know the names please drop me a line... :P
I wanted to take some more pictures but unfortunately I was without batteries in my cam...
This would only interest...

This would only interest fellow Finns! The suomi baari!! We had to go check it out and have a pint. This is the place you will find the finns that go abroad to whine about the heat and eat traditional finnish food... LOL.
A real Mallorcan experience
by Senoritasmile about Celler Sa Premsa
A HUGE, cavernous place where you sit on benches at wooden tables surrounded by enormous wine barrels and soak in the incredibly busy atmosphere. This place gets packed! Aim to be there before 1.45 before the rush begins. Menu of the day is always varied but full of all local dishes and the house wine is drinkable. All very reasonably priced. Well, you have to try the traditional local dishes
Sopas Mallorquin: not a soup at all! A mix of vegetables with a little pork and wafer-like mallorquin bread mixed in
Fritos Mallorquin: fried offal, potatoes and peppers, much tastier than it sounds!
Arroz Brut: Kinda like a paella soup
NOTE: Closed on Sundays
Sa Seu - Palma Cathedral
by pugwashman
This will probably be top of any tourist's to-do list anyway, but if it isn't put it there.
Not only is the cathedral well worth seeing, but it's got a wonderful position in amongst the old town, yet looking out over the harbour and on to the open sea.
Take time to stroll right the way around the outside.
The main facade is stunning, but it is a bit of a shame that you can't really get far enough back to take it all in.
It also looks nice at night when it's all lit up, and dominates the Palma skyline from most vantage points.
Old prison
by russian_yaz
Last prison in the ancient part of city. Nowdays there is a huge one outside the city wich is considered one of the safest prisons in Spain. This old one also was a church, now it only has it's religious function. Until beginig of the 20th century here the goverment put all the thieves and swindlers that where caught by the justice. It maintains it's old atmosphere with dark small rooms and cells. Opens few times for tourist, is not consider with touristic interest. But it's worthy to see if it's opne, U'll not regret it.
