Modern Appliances!
by Geisha_Girl about Apartamentos Caballero de Gracia
Comforts of home in your own Madrid apartment!
We didn't cook much while in Madrid, but we did manage to do our laundry!
Although a washer was included in the apartment, it is not equipped with a dryer. In fact, dryers are not normally included in any household in Europe.
You traditionally would hang a clothes line outside the window and let nature dry your jeans and *sweet nothings.*
WARNING: Ensure you pin your clothes tightly to the laundry lines..........Otherwise your signature bras and panties could end up as someone's table napkin at the restaurants down below!

We stayed in hotel SOL TROPICAL, a nice hotel
near by the beach. The second time we stayed
in hotel RIU CABALLERO. At that time 2* but
now it has 3*.

by Diablette
I'm leaving for Mallorca on the 30th of July, and I would like to know more about El Arenal, where I will be living (Hotel Caballero).
Thank you

Both (Playa de Palma and el Arenal) are top destinations for people (mostly german and dutch) who like to party most of the night and recover on the beach the next day. If that is your thing you'll be fine here. If not, there is enough to do and see on the island to keep you occupied. It definitely isn't a very quiet and pittoresque place. Though if you head off the boulevard and the main streets behind it, you might find a few bars with excellent tapas and a much more spanish/mallorquin ambiance
