I have never worked on the yacht before, but am going to give it a try this summer. I'm in India right now, but will be going to Mallorca at some time in May. Does anyone know when the best time to arrive would be? I will be very low on cash upon arrival, but as always I am willing to work. My professions are Injury Rehabilitation/Physical Therapy, Massage Therapist, Yoga Instructor, and related alternative medicine fields. But I also have experience in construction, lifesaving, and restaurants (among other things). Any advice at all would be helpful. I am also fluent in Spanish. Thanks.

I too am hoping to get work on a yatch in palma. I have been told the best time to arive is early may. I will be arriving tomorrow (may 8th) from Madrid and will be staying close to palma in a cheap hostel.

The most accessible from Palma of the many beaches, this is a wide and lively beach. If, for you, the night is so important as the day in the beach, then this may be your option - the other is Magalluf. If you prefer a quiet place, then... skip it, and look a little bit further, in the Calas area.
