The Harbor of Palma
by Klod5
A view of the harbor of Palma of Majorca, since the gardens that border the battlements of the old city. All around of the battlements has been arranged a walk, with gardens to the site of the moats. It is one places cool, quiet and relaxing.

Isla Formentera
The Island of Formentera lies to the south of Ibiza and is popular with those wanting to 'get away' from Ibiza Town for a while. I believe much of the Island is a nature reserve, and it is not over developed. There is a ferry link from Ibiza, but I have no idea what facilities - if any - are available here.

Our local. Such nice service, the restaurant owner spoke finnish to us!! Ha ha, earlier I would've felt depressed going abroad and having people speak our own language to us, but after my mother told me they are just being nice and glad to get to speak finnish, you can't really be offended.
I can remember people being really nice to us after finding out our nationality, so we can only be glad that people to go there before us have behaved themselves!!!
Nice to sit down in a comfy chair and watch the people walking by. I can remember people being really nice to us after finding out our nationality, so we can only be glad that people to go there before us have behaved themselves!!!
Easy trip from Palma
by YoGazpacho
The train ride from Palma to Soller is one of the best parts of visiting Soller. It's a relaxing way to see the variety of the Mallorcan landscape. Starting in downtown Palma, you ride through the pastures of olive tree, cut through the mountains, stop to take for a photo shoot of the panoramic view of Deia, and finally arrive in Soller.
In Soller, there are tons of restaurants, and boutiques to spend a whole day in. I would recommend saving time to take the trolley to the Port of Soller. There are more restaurants, shops, and a beach! The beach is not the nicest of all beaches in Mallorca, so I'd save beach time for later. Enjoy the views and food!!
View from the boulevard..

Palma has this huge strip of boulevard and it is quite a joy to just follow it for a while and look at all the boats, yachts, ferries... Not to mention all the people that you pass. There are also a fair amount of bars and terraces (day and evening) and bars and clubs (evening/night). So this strip along the sea is never boring.
