One would not know how to imagine garden in Spain without basins and sprays of water.
The gardens of the cathedral of Palma don't make exception, with this superb together. I found very pleasant and relaxing the gardens of Palma of Majorca. Quietude that one finds slice there with the nervous life of the city. The shadiness, the basins and the games of water bring a welcome freshness note.
Magaluf has it's own casino which I have never visited. I don't believe in going on holiday to lose money when you can do that at home besides if you want to gamble, go to Las Vegas. At least I had fun losing £400 there.
Instead why not bring a pack of cards and organise your own game. There seemed to be a lot of people with the same idea but as there were lots of older people here at this time of year I guess playing cards beats a heart attack on the dance floor.
Our hotel even had 8 card tables so we were sorted.
Stunning position on the waters edge, with fantastic food & great wine with perfect service. The trees are throughout the restaurant and dotted with twinkling lights. Also a hotel, the rooms are in need of a refurb - but still adequate for a beach resort (they have got however a freezing cold swimming pool - but the sea access is very easy) favourite dishes are the 'trampo' tuna fish salad & apparently a must have is the sucking pig (although never eaten it!)
The twin resorts of Palma Nova and Magaluf are situated on the islands south west coast.Palma Nova and Magaluf are everything you associate with Majorca. You will have the holiday of your life or a holiday from hell,depends on what you like.Both resorts have fine sandy beaches.The beaches are kept very tidy.The beach at Palma Nova is also quieter than the one in Magaluf.
Torrent de Pareis is a unique location...it's a tiny beach spot, between 2 very high mountains...
It has been described as 'a dream of titans hidden between the high mountains of Sierra Tramuntana...'
