I will be going to Palma in a few weeks, and I would like someone to recommed me a good tapas bar/bistro in the centre of the city.
I would also appreciate any useful tips or hints about Puerto Pollensa
In my experience Pollensa is much nicer than Port de Pollensa. Pollensa has many nice restaurants, the highest concentration of them being around the main square [I can't remember the name of this square, all I remember is that there is a large church and a hotel called the Hotel Juma]. The quality of restaurants in Port de Pollensa seems to be lower in comparison -- the kind of establishments where they have boards outside with pictures of the food. The two towns are not too far apart anyway, so you should have no problem seeing both if you're keen to be near the sea.
Cheers for the advice.
Try Placa Major, the square a short distance from the cathedral. They may not be the best places that you can eat, but there are a few restaurants around this square which are great for snacks, drinks and people watching. Its a great location.
