Well id read the reveiws and thought omg but too be fair it wasent that bad really!!!! We stayed in july for ten nights all inclusive the food was ok but i did notice the waitress putting used bread rolls back into the basket that was on other peoples tables so stay away from the bread rolls!!! Ok if you like pasta too cause plenty of that. The rooms were cleaned daily so they were ok. The drinks available from 10am til 11 at night and they did do nice cocktails. The staff were ok nothing to rave about but hey they work hard i suppose. There was no entertainment apart from a couple of nights of which was crap really. The lift was out of order for 4 days we was there so beware about that too. The pool area was clean and the pool was cleaned too. So like ppl have said its a 2 star so dont expect 4!!!

Unique Quality: The veiw we had from our room was lovely on the front so could see all the port really. Porta cristo is lovely little place and although i like a relaxing hol i could of done with a little bit more going on but i have now visited and i wont be going back really id say ideal for the over 50's!!! Thanks for reading my reveiw hope it answers any questions for you.

Travel Tips for Porto Cristo

The Monument to the first settlers

by Tolik

In the 1st century AD the Romans built a port in the area (you can visit the site of a Roman port behind the harbor, a Roman basilica and see the remains of a Roman ship which were found here just a few years ago). Then the settlement was abandoned for 2,000 years. Only in 1877 the Vadell family, proceeding from the neighbor fishing village Porto Colom, settled down in a cave located in the gardens in front of today’s Club Nàutic. Together with the Perlins family they were the first to found the Port of Manacor. On the occasion of the centennial of the foundation of Porto Cristo, in 1998, a bronze plaque, a work of Pere Pujol, was placed there in their memory.
