Sa Foradada or The Holed

In the way from Deia to Valldemossa U'll pass one really good place where to take some pics. The place is called "Sa Foradada" or "The holed" because of the big hole U see in the end of this peninsula, caused by the erotion of winds and water. U can get there walking, in the pic U can see a samll path that goes close to the water to the end.

At the end of the path U´ll need to climb a little bit, is not to hard so do it, U´ll not regret it.

Excursions nearby Valldemossa

Valldemossa has on its surroundings lot of different paths to follow. Some goes up to the top, others cross the mountains heading to Deia or Soller and other just keep strolling into de mountains, trough the olive trees and the terrace system. The pics U'll see are from my last excursion with the GEM, a excursionist group from Mallorca with more than 30 years of experience on this mountains. This particular path is called "The 2 mouth cave" because at one point of the trail U´ll find a cave with 2 entrances. Well, actully one because the other one opens direct to a cliff 300 meters high so to use this entrance U´ll need to be a hard climber :)
