Zenit Bilbao

My opinion of the hotel was a bit skewed by the fact that I was treated like crap by the attendent, but that was primarily because I arrived in casual clothes with a backpack and everyone else was a businessperson in a suit. Nevertheless, this business-class hotel (4 stars, well deserved) was comfortable, modern, clean and safe. The room was huge and I had a wonderful bathroom. Perhaps the only problem is its location, well out of the city centre (Alde zaharra).

Unique Quality: The washroom is ultra-modern. Everything was tile and steel and it looked like no one has in fact used it before me. Also, the decor was very stylish.

Directions: Right at the end of Autonomia, the shopping district

This was a four star Hotel which I found on the discount sites (like ratestogo.com) for a fraction. It was great. Good location, staff and a very good restaurant in the lobby. This seems to be a business hotel, and perhaps the deals are on the weekends?
