You'll find details on www.eurolines.com

Click 'online coach tickets', then choose France as the country of departure (scroll down for choice box).

The French page isn't displaying properly, but you can still use the search menu on the left. It will give you fares and departure times.

You can get buses from Bordeaux to Bilbao or S Sebastian.

Hi, I don't know about Bordeaux.
From Biarritz or Bayonne, there's PESA (www.pesa.net) travelling either to San Sebastian or Bilbao.
You could also try searching for connections at www.movelia.es

Travel Tips for San Sebastián

Early bird catches the worm.....

by ilovespain

There are a few good reasons why you should go early, if you are heading to the tapas bars -- first off, you have better selections, secondly, the baguette might get soggy after sitting there for a few hours, and most importantly, you do not want to see someone sneeze a foot in front of all those mouth watering tapas.

Gros

by mikey_e

The Gros neighbourhood is the newer, more commercially oriented one that you enter if you cross the Urumea by the Zurriola Bridge. In effect, if you go the Kursaal, you will find yourself in Gros. It is not exactly a charming part of the city, especially if you consider it against Antiguo, Parte Vieja or Centro, but it is not exactly run-down, either. It has a lot more modern buildings, which are a bit grimier, and much less of the Belle Époque architecture found on the western side of the Urumea. The neighbourhood was revitalized by the opening of the Kursaal, after the industrial base that provided the economic lifeblood of the area began to decline. It is named after the architect Tomas Gros, who designed this expansion of the city at the same time Cortazar was designing his expansion on the other side of the Urumea.

Swim with the sharks

by Roadquill

Well actually you walk through the sharks while they swim around you. The aquarium is a fun and interesting stop. There is a family price, but be sure to bring ID to show you are all one family. There are live baby sharks still in the egg sack on exhibit.

Donostia

"Elegant and Beautiful"

I was only here one day, on a day trip from Bilbao a few days before Christmas. It was around 20ºC that day, which is unusually warm for December. Thanks to the way we take care of our planet...
But anyway, it was a great day, its a beautiful city, and I cant give you any specifics on what to see and do but I'll share a few pictures at least.
