Feel sad to even give it a rating. What an absolute dump. If you have any expectations at all do not go there. Cats, cockroaches, dirty bedding, very damp, ripped furniture, unhygenic restaurant, beed bottles and dirty pillows tossed into your front garden! Mould up the walls and the furniture - go to an antique shop restoration area about the same quality - yuk. We moved and lost our full board status (no loss I don't think). We moved to The Villa Tagora - same rating but really fantastic, definately recommed there - AIRTOURS REPS AND AIRTOURS were totally unfair and the PROMISE that Airtours say they will do which is printed in the front cover of their brochures is not worth the paper it is written on. Well at end of hols in Tenerife me and the other 38 people that were moved from Laguna Park 2 had a great time.
Laguna 2. Will anyone return???

Returned from Laguna Park 2 yesterday 9/12/03 and feel the need to give a honest report on this hotel. The whole place is infested with cockroaches of all sizes they are everywhere. So many Cats that they probably out number the guests. The whole hotel is so run down,towels and sheets are threadbear, Large holes in the seating in the lounge areas We shall never return to this hotel ever again this is the worst accommodation we have ever visited and i advise anyone who is not one hundred and ten percent fit not to go as the hotel complex is ALL built on gradients of about one in ten. We spent more money on taxi fares to get to and from the laguna park 2 than we spent on food, the pavements to and from the hotel are so dangerous with big pot holes and so very very slippery, which would be fatal when wet. Tenerife is a lovely island enjoy your stay and use the laguna park 2 as little as possible should you be unlucky enough to be allocated here on arrival

It was a few years since Rob and I tripped the light fantastic at Laguna Park 2. Enjoyed our 2 stays there immensely! Remember the 2 fantastic girls we met on the second trip round!
Apartments clean and habitable. Just get rid of those dreadful moggies man! Especially that one that used to yowl outside our apartment.
Fond memories of my bachelor life! Cannot go to places like this now I'm getting married1

I was dreading going to laguna park 2 once i had read some of the reviews on this site.We had an excellent time,yes the hotel is up a hill but it wasn`t as bad as i had expected and if you can`t be bothered walking back up get a taxi it only cost a few quid,now onto the cats,there are a lot of cats in this complex but they are very timid,maybe there wouldn`t be as many if the shop didn`t sell cat food to guests to feed the cats with.Our apartmrnt was basic but clean,the sheets and towels got changed twice a week but if you wanted more towels all you had to do was ak at reception.All the staff were very friendly and the entertainment was 1st class,hopefully when you are there the beatles tribute is on this is not to be missed it`s not what you think it is,a game of football took place every day and it`s a great way of meeting people.Laguna Park 2 is well worth a visit we`re already booking up for next jan.One other thing they offer a boat trip which is much better value than the ones your rep will offer don`t be ripped off.

After booking this apartments as a last minute holiday deal with Direct Holidays,I was really passing out after reading the reports from previous holidaymakers but on arrival at lp2,I was pleasantly surprised.Yes there was a lot of steps & hills but we were warned.Our apartment,E2,already had a guest.MR COCKROACH.We asked to be moved & we were.P3.Nearer the pool which was great.Apartment was nice & clean.As we were HB,didnt use the kitchen facilities for cooking.Only the fridge which was great!The restaurant staff were really friendly.Had a great time in there!Met lots of nice friendly people.The weather was xcellent.Would definately return.Thank you for great holiday memories.24-31 October 2003

Laguna Park 1. My wife and I reurned from holiday on 20 December 2003 having spent 28 days at Laguna Park1. On holiday with us were approximately 20 other couples from Lancashire and Yorkshire and we all had a fabulous holiday. After reading reports on this site prior to going on holiday we were quite worried about the holiday but all of the reports we have read about it being a bad hotel etc appear to be completely foundless and it would agai appear they were written by the sad people who either don@t enjoy holidays or look fro compensation from the outset. We have travelled the world for over 50 years and foun the hotel to be clean.the staff to be courteous and helpful and the area interesting. We went self-catering so our only impression ofthe food was the oddmidday snack as we ate out most nights with the occassional night having a cooked meal in thr apartment. The apartment were comfortable enough and adequately provided with cooking facilities. Our only quibble was the price of hiring equipment fro example hiring a toaster for 10 Euros a week whereas I went down town and bought one for 16Euros i.e. a holday saving of 24 Euros plus a second toaster at home. The entertainment was on very late. 11pm start every night however the local pubs had better entertainment and a cheaper pint of beer. All in all well worth the money.

a family holiday to laguna 2 on the 7th of june 2003 loads of cats should not be classed as a 3 star ive been to a better 1 star in spain cost a lot to taxi every day sheets where changed after the 9th day a ******** do not waste your money on this propery before leaving i left a comment 7 months later still waiting on a reply.

A great family hotel, lots of facilities, and great entertainment.
(E.G: hypnotists, elvis, puppet shows, the can-can, etc...) I want to go again!!!!! there were no cock roaches, but some cats.
Should be at least a 4 star hotel if not a 5 star!
A nice new year break

This is the first holiday of the year, departing on the 2nd January for one week. Laguna 1 is a hotel complex that we have been to before.
Within walking distance of shops, restaurants and pubs. The staff were friendly, the hotel food was generally good, the only downside was we didn't know what we were eating some nights. The rooms were clean but basic, but everything in it as you would expect. We normally go to Lanzarote, but this holiday is ideal for us with small children, and catered for our budget, the only annoying thing is that Airtours seem to charge what they like, however we would still go back>

not been here 1 hours full of cats it smells of cat wee and there are cockroaches in the room we had to change roombecause no lock on the door
