More about Broncemar Beach
Broncemar was Brilliant
What a great time our family had at the broncemar. We only went for one week and arrived there on the 20th October 2004. Great apartments, modern and spacious, hotel excellent, good prices and the food was good too. The entertainment reps, especially John and Vikki were superb. My kiddies loved them. There is a pub on site called the Tavern and this is open til 3am with a disco every night from 11pm. Any way as we had such a great time, we are going back over new year for another week. can't wait....
Jess, Kyle and Jake.
Broncemar is not a bore
Returned from broncemar beach after a weeks holiday. We found our apartment clean and functional with mod cons such as a microwave. Unfortunately there were builders working directly next to our terrace and although this was not a major problem it would have been nice to have been made aware of this prior to them commencing work. Our apartment was cleaned every other day. We did not spend our evenings in the complex however it was very evident that the entertainment provided was of a high standard and throroughly enjoyed by families. Poolside entertainment was daily and very popular, with the reps knowing almost everyones name. The only negative comment we have regarding the holiday was that we also had to wait 2 hours for our room which wasn't ready on arrival which we hadn't anticipated with us arriving at 4pm, forunately we had euros and a knowledge of caleta and went to the pub, also we had booked that we were celebrating and this was totally overlooked. As a resort we found caleta to have everything we require for a relaxing holiday, with a varitey of restaurants and bars. We particularly enjoyed Molly Malones however it isn't well advertised and probably missed by many unless you are staying over that side of the resort. Could have done without the constant sellers in the restaurants and bars though, selling dodgy lighters, flowers and toys.
Best Entertainment team ever.
We returned from Broncemar Beach Aparthotel, Calletta De Fuste, yesterday-16 October 2004. It has to be the best family holiday we have ever had.
The entertainment team work thier socks off to keep the guests happy. We have two sons 13 and 4 and they both loved every part of the holiday.
We would like to mention the THE TEAM - Alex, Danniel, Haley, Rob and Sarah, who despite personal tragegy were fantastic, as were the holiday reps Gavin and Spike.
Will we return? You bet. Even though those magnificent entertainers will be moving to different pastures.
The apartments are spacious and comfortable with good facilities within the complex. Calletas man made beach is grotty but the water sports are great. Restaurants to suit everyones taste and if you drive you are bang in the middle of the island to explore what Fuertaventura has to offer. 10/10 for the whole 2 weeks.
The Best Entertainment Team Ever!!!!!
We were on holiday at the Broncemar Beach in August 2004, and believe you me that it has got to be one of our best hols that we've had. Purely because the entertainment team were extremely talented and were always so helpful.
Our sons aged 7 and 5 had a fantastic time and wished they were back already.
You wouldn't beleive it that our sons even miss playing the 9pm bingo sessions.
We would defintely go back providing we knew the same entertainment team were out there!
Rob, Alex, Danielle, Sarah, Dan Dan the football man, Spikey and all the Kids crew members, you do a fantastic job, keep up the good work.
The restaurant offered a variety of food, although the childrens menu could do with an improvement.
The Salad bar, desert bar offered a good selection, as did the main. Overall good.
Hope to be back soon.
We returned from a weeks stay at the Broncemar Beach on 28th March 2004 (sorry for the delay in writing this review!). The weather wasn't too bad, we had 2 days of cloud (trousers and cardigan weather), a thunderstorm one night and rain the following morning but for the rest of the time the sun was out!
The only thing I would say was that it was very very windy which made it cold at night. Now, before we went I had spoken to a friend who said it was cold at night....what he ment was that it was blooming frrreeeezzzing! Take your bed socks!
The apartments were very clean and we had everything we needed in our one bed studio. We even had a kettle which reading other reviews seems to be rare.
The staff were great. They were all very polite and helpful.
We don't have kids but the kids entertainment looked fantastic and the reps were around everyday so you can ask them any questions.
There are some lovely restaurants to visit which are only a 5 minute walk to the end of the street.
We had gone to just relax and catch some sunshine so it was perfect for us.
The only thing I would say was that you do need to be prepared for the planes.....We knew we were near the airport so it didn't bother us too much but they are low and loud!
Ther's an Irish bar on site (staff are great and it has Sky sport for then it's raining!) but they had entertainment on until 3am. The bar is next to the pool which we overlooked. The noise was a pain at first but we soon got used to it. It could be a pain if you have kids.
A great place to go if you want to relax, there's no loud bars in the town, it's very friendly and family focused and we never once felt unsafe.
Enjoy your stay!
Hey everyone my name is Karen and I just got back from Broncemar Beach with my boyfriend Scott as we went for his 21st and it was brilliant! There are so many good things such as - clean rooms, friendly staff, 2 great pools (1 for entertainment and one if you do not want to be disturbed), onsite supermarket, Really nice bar (tavern), pool tables, tennis court etc etc
However te best of all was the reps! Hi to Jo and Sheradin (cant believe we met you again it was great keep in contact!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!), Gavin, John, Julie, Mandy (Great Tina Turner impression! lol), and all the rest! You were all fab and kept us entertained every day and night with your pool side quizzes, killer pool, bingo, five a side football, giant jenga, theme nights etc!
Must say our favourite night was the Friday Night (for everyone reading this you must pay to go and see the Friday night show! It cost 30 euros per person and you get a three course meal, free drinks with your meal, a show which starts with a comedian (he is great), then the reps do a show, (6 by 4 was AMAZING!) go to find out what this is!, then the Four Tops come on stage! This is a show now to be missed and its in a 5 star hotel just a 5 min walk from the hotel! Worth every penny!
In the rooms you have to pay for your safe which is reccommeded. You also have to pay for the TV which is 1.20 euro per hour. The tv is good because if you are unlucky and it rains like it did for us then there are movie channels with great films on. We had Troy, Lord Of The Rings, Godsend, Finding Nemo, Day After Tommorrow etc. Also if you did not want to take a CD player (which is more luggage to carry around) then there is MTV channel. You also have to pay for a kettle, however we just boiled any water in a pot. There is however a microwave, fridge and a 2 ring cooker.
If you are going to this hotel in Feb then I would advise some warm clothing as it is very very cold at night. Sometimes during the day it got cold and I wish I had brought more trousers and jumpers. However when the sun comes out it is lovely and the sunbeds are comfortable! We got a sunbed everyday but thats probably dur to the time of year and the weather as we only got a couple of hours of sun 4 days out of 7. However there is still things to do. The shops are only a 5 min walk away and sell some good stuff! There are also plenty of nice places to eat such as the chinese doen the road. It is yummy! we got 2 portions of fried rice, chichen curry, beaf chow main and 2 drinks and it was only 13 Euros.
This is not a place for people who are looking for pubs and clubs and late nights as there are not many places to go. There is not much at all to do. I would not reccomed it to groups e.g a boys holiday or a girls holiday. You would be better going to Tenerife as we were there in September and it was full of pubs, clubs and nightlife was great. Fuerteventura (well the part I was at) is more a place for couples who are looking for a quiet break or for families and I could see the kids really enjoyed the disco!
Its not a big problem but I must say you do get aircraft noise as planes fly over every half hour or less. However you do get used it!
Hope all this informations helps and the Broncemar is FANTASTIC!!! Please go and see for yourself! Its not a place to be missed!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
best holiday ever
me and my sister went for a week early in july it was so hot and relaxing it was the best week ever. everyone was so happy and we spent the whole time sunbathing and shopping and generally having fun. The hotel room was clean and comfortable and the two pools were lovely to cool down in. there was some building work going on in a small area of the hotel and it made you feel a bit awkward as the builders stopped and watched you walk past on way down to pool. The staff were all helpful and friendly especially the bar staff and like a lot of the reviews say Udai and Raphael were great fun and very flirty. Udai was definately a highlight and he made the last night very interesting especially with all the free drinks. it was a fantastic week and we definatley will be going back as soon as pos.
the entertainment were wkd
that holiday was the best holiday i have ever been on!!! and that was all down to the entertainment team. hayley, rob, sarah, danielle and alex made my holiday. it was soooo much fun with them. hayley n danielle U CAN REALI SING!!! rob is the funniest ever! sarah n alex r wkd!!!!! i would defintly go back there!!! i reali miss u guys coz ur the BEST!!! you work reali hard with all the entertainment. keep up the good work!
most relaxing holiday
this was my third visit to caleta and this was by far the best apartments we have stayed in. I read all the reviews before we went so knew all the good and bad points.must say found alot more of the good than the bad. Our room was probably in the best position of them all facing out onto the pool we did not have to get up early to reserve our beds. I found the place to be very clean and well maintained and all the staff very friendly and helpful the only complaint was we had to wait two hours for our room to be ready when we arrived other than that we could not fault it and definatly recommend it
Hi guys how are you all??
we have just got back from Fuerteventura where we stayed over christmas and new year. It was so much fun, even though the weather wasnt great for the first week, really cloudy and even rain!! we still had a laugh. I do have to say though that if it wasnt for the Thomas Cook team who work so hard at the hotel it would be sooooooooo boring and even in the resort itself, we found that on the days when the weather wasnt great you are very limited to what you can do.
As i said about the thomas cook team, they are excellent; Johnny and Sharon you guys are sooo funny, thank you for keeping us laughing.
Gav and Gemma our resort reps, you guys are great and always really helpful and friendly.
The reps caberet which we went to on new years eve was the funniest thing ive ever seen, especailly the '6 by 4' sketch (Gavin you were amazing) ive never laughed so much in my life, and Maggie it was great to see you again.
Julie i cant believe we saw you at the caberet especially as you thought you wouldnt know anyone there :o) haha, all the best in what you do next.
So overall it was a good holiday but as i said it if wasnt for the entertainment and the overall thomas cook team i dont think it would be as good. The hotel itself was ok apart from some mold in the bedroom and a maid service which only occured about 5 times in two weeks!
The new Tavern bar is good to go to, it has more atmosphere than Tavern 1 and plus you get swedish lessons on how to say please and thank you etc. 4 free :o) haha and Nunu who is always smiling and helpful.
So hope to see you all again soon, keep up the good work.
oh and Congratulations Aday for becomming a dad.
