This is a great hotel. You have a appartment with some bedrooms and a bath. As you can see on the photo it also has a great pool. Behind the pool is directly the sea.

Parque Santiago 3 - FAB FAB FAB

by TripAdvisor Member Ju38

We have just returned from PS3 and had an absolutely FAB time. We booked flights ourselves and booked a 3 storey villa from a private owner with poolside view. The villa was wonderful - far too big for 4 of us. The pool was great once in (we only discovered the heated one on our last day)!!!. You could not ask for a better location with this complex. You are about 50mtrs from beach with no roads in between and just steps from the pool. My idea of a holiday is quiet, relaxation and beach. This area offered everything I wanted and I would most definately return. The beach has a usual sunbathing area but also a rocky part which my kids loved. Once we were bored of the pool or sunbathing we went rock pooling and watched the surfers. This area of tenerife seems to be extremely clean and well kept. Definately GREAT!

you will love santiago 3

by TripAdvisor Member mwthorn

we went to santiago 3 in july. there were 4 of us 19-23. i heard many reports about this hotel, 90% good and i know now that that is true.

rooms: excellent and clean and spacious

cleaners: excellent trust worthy and in everyday

food: dont know ate out every night

things to do in hotel: 2 swimming pools(biggest ive ever seen) shopping, many eating places, pool tables, table tennis,

location: perfect ***** ideal for quiet nights or just a short walk to verinicas strip, but far enough away to get some sleep at night and no litter etc. excellent shops. also 2 mins walk to christianos shops beach restaurants etc. i reccomend the plaza just to the right of the hotel loads of quality restaurants and bars.

bassically an all round hotel. i think it is rated at 3 star. i would just like to say its the best 3 star hotel/ apartments ive ever been to, and you will see for yourself if you go. also suitable for all ages.

excellent *****

No assistance on arrival, but fab location and accomodation

by TripAdvisor Member telboy1948

Arrived at 7pm at Parque Santiago 3 reception with my elderly parents(86 and 84) having previously requested ground floor accomodation due to their difficulty walking. No assistance given or offered at reception other than a map drawn to show you to your rooms. My parents room was on second floor and they had great difficulty accessing room. Took 4 days to get a suitable ground floor room for them.
However everything else about the place and facilities was very good.Superb swimming pool -best i have visited in years.Staff were very friendly and the place was kept spotless.

Excellent apartments

by TripAdvisor Member Rajdinx

I stayed in Parque Santiago 3 with family. We booked directly with a lettings agent Ocean Management Services.

The apartment was very clean, spacious and well equipped. It was a private apartment unlike the majority of others which are managed by the resort.

There is a good selection of restuarants in the complex including a very good Pizzeria, chinese, european and snack bars.

The swimming pools are very large and kept impressively clean.

Outside the complex is PS 2 and 4 which have good large supermarkets, mini golf and up the road is an impressive shopping complex with good restaurants on the roof terrace.

The area is clean and away from the "brits abroad" areas of veronicas although a 10 mins walk away if you fancy some nightlife.

Villa 106 - Unbearable Noise

by A TripAdvisor Member

Villa 106 in the Parque Santiago complex backs onto a car prk next to the beach. At weekends, from midnight to 6am, the car park fills with cars each trying to out play the others stereo system. The noise is unbearable.

Anyone staying in this complex in the villas (and many of the apartments) will suffer from this.

Villa 106 in particular had never had the floor mopped in weeks and dead bugs on the walls.

The other Parque Santiago complexes are not affected by the noise.

Aboid Villa 106 as advertised on the holiday-rentals site.

Well worth the money

by TripAdvisor Member Taggy-The-Chef

Stayed in parque santiago III and it was superb. Very clean and spacious with the bedroom and toilet upstairs. 2 balconies for lounging on. Not many places abroad have gas cookers all are electric with 2 rings. This apartment had gas and a 4 ring stove handy if eating in. Was close to supermarket just across the road and also close to the white sand beach turn left on the promenade after passing the cafeteria San Bonodon.

Ate out every night as the chinese and indian restaurants were of superb value with a glass of sake when meal was finished. Highly recommended.
Ate at the Aberdeen Steak House and was bitterly disappointed as i'm a chef too trade and what we ordered wasn't what we got - steaks overdone, sauces completely different from english restaurants and the service very poor more interested in getting people off the street and not serving customers in restaurant . Also very expensive too many extras not asked for but being charged for so i don't recommend.

Best place we found for breakfast was in the actual complex beside the pool called restaurant Happy Stable ask for the Santiago breakfast great value for your euros Shops that you need are all on site and also one off the cheapest and we travelled to Los Cristianos and Playa San Juan too look for bargains.

The rep night on Mondays is highly recommended by all of our party as you get a 3 course meal, entertainment and neverending supply of red and white wine, orange juice and jugs of local beer. - Best night of the stay dying next day.

All our party would go again to this resort and hopefully still be the same only 1 problem - no lifts.

Keep up the good work see you again soon.

We stayed at PS4

by TripAdvisor Member GinnyFor

We had great sea views from our room, the rooms are basic but clean and tidy. We booked a studio apartment, which had everything we needed. The pools at these apartments are great and you could get a bed at any time of the day.

We did go a see PS3 they seem on the same level, but they have a very big shopping centre nearby and it did seem that the shoppers could walk around the complex.

The only problem with these apartment is there is no AC and at night the room got very hot. We did open the balcony door and this did cool the room down, and we were lucky as the only noise was the sea!.

The weather is great at the moment and we got a good tan!

I would go back if I had the money, but next time would not book a night flight as they were so busy we had to leave the room at noon when we would have liked to have booked it to the end of the night.

Best hotel we have visit

by TripAdvisor Member spritta

Hallo from Denmark. Me and my friend visit the hotel in june 2006 for 2 weeks. It was great!
Nice and big apartment. Cleaning perfect!
The pools was big and clean. And very beautifull. Just like the garden.
The hotel have a lot to offer you ,if you dont want to go out.
Friendly crew.
We had view to the sea, the mountains, the pools, garden and the fine hotel. Wauwwwwwwwwwwwwww!
Sorry! But you have to visit it some day. I will for sure visit it again!

Consistant every time!!

I have stayed at this property 4 times now in the last 3 years with my fiance and family, booking via tour operators and lately by email direct.
I was a travel agent for 11 years and have visited alot of places in europe, I can honestly say this property ticks all the boxes!
The standard of accommodation is excellent, there are plentyful members of staff, all of which are friendly, well presented, attentive and visable which is always good!
The apartments are immaculately clean, the maids visit the apartment each day to clean and change the towels.
There is an abundance of sunbeds (the majority have matresses on for extra comfort) there are also parasols available. The sunbeds and terraces surrounding the pool area are cleaned early every day and there are pool attendants who maintain the pool checking guests ID to confirm they are resident at the property (which is good news to ensure no gate-crashers!)
There are plentyful shops, cafes, restaurants and bars in close proximity all of a high standard, I would say there is something for everyone at this property.
In summary I would strongly reccommend this property, a clean, resort style accommodation with friendly and attentive staff who strive to make your stay an enjoyable one....enjoy your holiday!!

Santiago de Compostela

by psychofluffbunny

Just wanted to know if anyone has walked to Santiago Compostela, and if they have what advice they could give on where to start the walk etc. Should i pre book the inns? And where is the best place to start from?!!

Thanks for you help.

Re: Santiago de Compostela

by zizu

Hi there!
I walked the "camino" 7 years ago. I started my trip in Orrega, in basque country (Nafarroa). This is at the moment, the french and spanish states´ border. There are 1200 kms from this point to Santiago. I did the way on bike, about 10 days, but if you´ll do it walking you need about 26 days. If you haven´t many time, youhave to start the trip nearest to Santiago.
You have not to book the inns, and you can´t. I think it´s impossible. When you arrive to an inn, if there is any place you can stay there, and if there isn´t you have to continue till the next inn. But be calmed, every 10-20 km you will find one. The walkers have preference against the bikers. You have to leave the inn before 8:00am.
If you arrive to Santiago, you can stay at the inn of Santiago 3 days. Off course, all the inns are free, but is a good idea let some money; think the people of the inns make their job without any salary, they´re volunteers.
After arriving to Santiago, go to Finisterre; here you have to burn one of your clothes for "purify" your spirit.
Come as you´re.
Best regards
