we have just returned fro m a stay at the club las olas all that can be said is give this hotel a miss . the rooms are dirty ant infested and you get the very basic of cooking facilities ie not even a kettle . the only positive about the place was the pool was clean and we had it all to ourseves the place was deserted
Relieved that it was lovely...

Had an excellent stay at Club Las Olas which was surprising after reading the reviews on here. Went as a couple self-catering - didn't eat in the hotel at all so couldn't comment on the food but hotel was clean, nice staff and the facilities were perfectly adequate. I would go again - I liked that it was slightly out of town so was a bit quieter and the entertainment in the bar never went on too late so didn't disturb us at all. A good all round holiday.
Fantastic holiday would definatley go back

We came back from Fuertaventura early hours of this morning. We are sad to be back because we found our stay in Club Las Olas very pleasant. The staff were very friendly, the entertainment was fantastic, the food was nice and there was always a choice of different things. The hotel rooms were cleaned often and we didnt have any complaints atall. One thing that could improve it next time would be for our room to be airconditioned however it didnt bother us that much if we kept a window open. We were quite worried at first as we had read some reports that the swimming pools were filthy and the food was rubbish and chips for breakfast??!! I dont know where these people went to on holiday but it was definatly not Club Las Olas. The swimming pools were clean and lovely to swim in. And i never saw any chips at brekfast time!! Would go back without a doubt and if you are planning on going dont worry about it you will love it!!!
not the best hotel ,not the worst

also arrived on the evening of the 4th staff were very helpfull as were all the night staff . day staff the complete opposite abrupt and ignorant. the room was basic a bit old fashioned and not cleaned to a high standard, linnen and towels were clean but overdue for replacement. Had no problems with either hot water or insects .The resturant was not cleaned properly the food was generally cold and dry , there were only 2-3 staff running both the resturant and 2 bars , the rest of the hotel is no different slightly shabby and dated in need of a complete makeover, on a possitive note there are 2 beaches within a 10 minute walk and flag beach just a 5 euro taxi ride, the rest of the resort is very pleasent and clean . In conclusion if you want a cheap basic hotel close to all amenaties and 2 beaches yet in a quiet area the hotel is ok its not as bad as some of the reviews ,i would consider staying again but only as a cheap base not all inclusive .
Better than expected!

I was very nervous about this hotel having read the reviews on line. We went with Extreme Holidays for the windsurfing so the room was just to lay our heads at the end of the day.
On arrival we were greated well. All the staff seemed really nice and friendly. Our room was larger than we expected and clean. Kitchette was dated though and some cereal bowls would have been nice. The shower was rubbish!
The linen and bathroom was fine/clean.
No air con though it was very hot in the room and don't leave the winds open on a night as the mosquitos will find you! Leave them closed and you will be fine on an evening. We had a balcony and view of one of the two pools. All the gardens were well kept and clean.
We did not eat here at all. The dining area did look very dated (nice green and pink walls) and not inviting at all and the bar area is very poor and needs a revamp. We went out to eat each night. There are some great bars for lunch and diner all over. Lots to explore in the town. Only a few minutes away. Some great ice cream shops. ;o)
El Tren did lovely food on the sea front, Waikiki was good for lunch. Lots of good bars for drinking late. Stay away from restaurants with chaps trying to persude you in though. Those restaurants in old down are better than on the main high street.
We had a great time and would come again for the room only with Extreme Holidays. The sport side was why we went and the cool people we meet on the week made the holiday.
N.B. If I was going as a normal couple on holiday I would go elsewhere.
Bearable But Wouldn't Go Back!

We had a great holiday in Corralejo but the apartments had nothing to do with that.
When we arrived we were impressed with our room in that it was clean and tidy but the facilities were not the best and as there was no air conditioning it was far too hot!!We were all inclusive and the food was ok but often the place seemed understaffed and so we had to queue loads to get a drink or food as the buffet was not restocked quickly enough...if you didnt get down for breakfast early enough there was nothing left.
We had our towels changed in our rooms the 2nd day we were there but they didnt then get changed again until the 2nd last day. The reception staff were EXTREMELY rude when we were booking excursions or just asking simple questions about the resort.
Swimming pools were freezing and not always cleaned first thing in the morning.
All in all, the apartments didnt put a damper on my holiday, but I definately wouldn't go back to Club Olas.
will not be returning in a hurry

Where do i start.... Rooms were not clean, food was cold and not up to standard and day four became really ill and not until back to the UK did i know that i had salmonella. Please think twice if you are thinking about going to this hotel and if you do don't have the eggs or chicken. That wont leave you much but you will be safer that way.
Would NOT recommend. Dirty & Poorly maintained. Stayed with Extreme Holidays
by TripAdvisor Member ElizaWestYorkshire
Stayed here whilst Kite Surfing with Extreme Holidays. We expected basic (afterall, it was just somewhere to crash at the end of a good day surfing) however, it would have been nice if it had been clean!!!
We changed rooms several times in search of one that was clean - but didn't find one. In the end we purchased some cleaning fluids from the supermarket & did it ourselves :-( Not what you want to be doing on holiday!!! We overlooked the pool area (opposite side of the site to reception) which was a pleasant location. We were self catering but the kitchen was very basic (burn holes in the work surfaces - dirty utensils - dirty table & units). One of the guys on our holiday even got an electric shock everytime he used the hob in his appartment!
We came back brown - not with a suntan, but from the bath water!
After spending the first afternoon cleaning the bathroom, the kitchen, the lounge & getting squashed mosquitos off the walls I definately would not recommend a stay here.
Give this place a miss rude staff and dirty rooms
by TripAdvisor Member BradfordGlobetrotter
Sorry but i will be brief.
Room dirty on arrival squashed bugs on walls and dirty worn out work surfaces. Also bathroom very shoddy and brown water and rust marks from taps.Could not get half a bath of hot water ended up boiling pans of water on the minging hob!
When the reception were challenged and we asked to be moved to another room they were rude and we were told "hey all the rooms are the same!"
Dont go there!
The only decent thing was the pool which was clened every day unlike the rooms.
