Nice vulcano Town
"The town was partly destroyed by vulcano 1708"
Tenerife is volcanic and an eruption in May 1706 was a major event in the town's history. A several week long eruption poured lava into the old bay and effectively destroyed the town's livelihood. The lava is still having it's influence to town's nature.
"Vulcanic routes"
This pser shows how the vulcano floeted to town, there were a couple of main streams 5th and 15th May 1706.
"Swimming? Now way."
A municipal swimming pool is on the beach, but it was close on t time we were there. utside of this pool, the Atlantic swell makes swimming inadvisable, even most brave, I didn't try.
