Aloe Club Resort Corralejo Fuerteventura: Nice stay Aloe Club Resort Hotel Corralejo

Nice place in Ganary Island east side near Africa coast. It was like visiting in the moon or something like that. Landscape was like that. Low buildings and hotels not very architectonically made. Nice plase to relax and wal or cycle.

Hotel Aloe Club had quite large hotel area, with many hotelbuildings and three swimming pool areas. Food was guite good, there was also all inclusive guests.

Playa Park apartments: Nice budget apartments in Corralejo

We have booked the playa park apartments in Corralejo online cause of the great rates and the nice pictures. It is an apartment complex situated around some large central courtyard with bars and swimming pools. Most apartments have either a terrace or a balkony.

Rooms are more spacious than standard hotel rooms and you also got a small kitchen. Since the supermarket is just 100 metres away it is ideal for self-catering.

Everything is clean, towels and sheets are changed frequently and the ubication is very quiet. In total great value for money, absolutely recommended when traveling on a budget.

Very nice pool area and bars.

Sotavento Beach Club: ''Im Urlaub zu Hause'' their motto

Our first stay in a Club/Hotel complex. We only choose it as it had a separate room for our toddler and a little kitchenette.
The complex is nice enough. They seemed to fix it up quite a bit lately and were still working on it which was sometimes a bit noisy. The rooms were great. Big enough, very clean, kitchen had all we needed, balcony with deck chairs and table. We had half pension. Breakfast buffet was good. For the dinner buffet I can not give a real answer as after the first meal i had stomach problems for a night and did not eat much for a few days...did not feel about eating there anymore really. As other people seemed to have similar problems. Another down point was that you had to share tables with other people/families.
It is a family friendly place. They have a kids club, painting atelier, dive school, swimming lessons, tennis, mini golf, supermarket, Bar, two pool areas, Shows in the evenings.
Some apartments have sea view others over look the animated pool area. Lots of stairs in the complex. Good beach access.

For our toddler it was the playground which was really nice!
If you are not German speaking you might feel lost :-) As an example they have five TV channels all of them in German.
We paid with flight, transport and half pension 700 Euros for a week.

RIU Hotel Jandia 4Stars: Calm and relaxed

I was with two friends at Jandia/Moro Jable in the RIU Hotel ressort (4Stars).
We stayed there for 8 days and booked it only with half pension (Breakfastbueffet and Eveningdinner). The Service was more than perfect. At the first evening you'll be introduced where your fixed Table (only Eveningdinner) for the next 8 Days is and which Service Personal is responsable at your Area.
We could talk with the most personals in German and English.

The Evening Events was created easy and relaxed, to give you not a heavy atmosphere.
Relaxed live Music with some little shows with the childrens of the guests.

The rooms was clean everyday very good. The Room got a big Terrasse with 2 Chairs, 2 deck Chairs, a big Table, Sunprotector etc.
The room was around 30squarmeters (Big Size Bed, 2 Chairs, table, TV, Minibar, Desk, Big Bathroom etc.

The Price was more than OK for this Service. I could say that for this price you dont really get a better Hotel like this. 8 Days with flytransfer to Frankfurt (Germany) (late booked earlier maybe cheaper) for about 850 Euro.

ONE little apartment for rent In House Chorlitas: Fuerteventura cheap & little apartment for rent

Coastal hideaway, highly recommended for a couple or small family. Modern, single storey villa located in the sleepy village of Lajares, just 6 minutes by drive car from fabulous golden sandy beaches and excellent surfing at El Cotillo and only 10 minutes by car from Grandes Playas and Natural Park of dunes The surrounding natural volcanic landscape is also good for walking, trekking and cycling, with a popular walking route into Corralejo

The accommodation comprises: 1 bedroom with 2 twin bed, shower room with WC, open plan living/kitchen area with sofa bed. Outside: Private plot with sun terrace This single storey villa part can accommodate 3 adults or 2 adults and 2 childrens

Guest feedbacks:
We stayed for a second time at Casa Chorlitas as we liked it so much first time round. We love to windsurf and surf and Lajares is a great place to access all the spots on the North Track as well as Correlejo and Cotillo. We enjoyed some epic wavesailing at Majanicho and great surfing at many spots on the North Track. There was also good snorkelling and swimming in the safe bays just to the north of Cotillo. The appartment was comfortable for the three of us and Claudio and his family were very friendly and accommodating..We also enjoyed the friendly and social atmosphere in Lajares - U-turn is a great bar within walking distance and the patisserie 'Goloso' does amazing cakes and coffee. There is also a supermarket in Lajares to stock up on groceries. We look forward to staying at Casa Chorlitas in the future. Thanks again Claudio,
Kathryn, Matt & Jenna

We had a very pleasant time at your appartment. The appartment was very clean and cosy, with all the comforts we could ever wish. We also enjoyed the garden: to sit there in the sun was very relaxing. Lajares is also a nice little village! We don't like crowdy places (like when you go to the Costa Brava), so this was a good place to be! When we ever go back to Fuerteventura, we will definitely be back! Cheers,
Jelle and Kim.

Hotel Faro Jandia, Fuerteventura: Luxury Holiday

I stayed at Hotel Faro Jandia over Christmas, wanting to avoid Christmas in the UK. Apart from a couple of people walking around with Santa hats on Christmas Morning and the Christmas Tree in the main Ballroon I really wouldn't have known it was Christmas.
The weather was beautiful, Sunbathed everyday. The hotel was very nice, clean and near the shopping centre. I was very impressed with my room but apparantly the higher floor you are on the rooms and amenities get better. I have dressing gowns and slippers in my wardrobe There was a Mini bar, a fruit bowl on arrival, balcony with table an chairs. TV and hairdryer and really comfortable beds.
A visit to the Spa is a must even just to the pool, there is a Gym,sauna, steam room and treatments available.
The hotel food was amazing lots and lots of choice, well cooked and fresh, breakfast on the sun terrace is a must. The Entertainment was of good standard too. The only downside to the whole hotel was the slow service of the staff, but when in Fuerteventura.......................

Really nice hotel, Nice pool, nice spa, excellent Food.

Club Jandia Princess: Jandia's best?

I'd certainly recommend this hotel. The service was without fault, it has 5 pools, sauna, a miniclub, various bars and restaurants. I chose the all included option, which was great value for money. There are plenty activities every day, though they're a little german and british guests oriented... Also it has a direct access to the beach, so if you're willing to walk you can go all the way to Morro Del Jable, 4 to 5 Km south.

Bahia Grande Aparthotel, Las Playitas: A Very Pleasant Surprise.....

We didn't really know what to expect from this hotel before we arrived. When we eventually found it (it was very dark when we arrived), we were a bit concerned that we might feel a bit isolated as we seemed to be miles from anywhere. What a fantastic surprise the next morning though....

The views were stunning!!! The hotel was gorgeous and the resort was just beautiful. We had arrived at a golf/spa resort - which we wouldn't have ordinarily chosen, but we got a good deal - set in the most amazing surroundings. To the front of the hotel was the ocean, and we were surrounded by mountains - the contrast was stunning. The whole resort was set in beautiful gardens - it was just a gorgeous place to be.

This resort not only had facilities which made it ideal for families, but it also had everything that you would want at a conference venue - nice bars/restaurants, open, airy conference lounge, golf course and spa treatments etc. It just seemed to be perfect for everyone.

For a family holiday this hotel wouldn't have been an obvious choice but it was fantastic. it has a lovely pool (salt water), a paddling pool with fountain for small children and a further pool with a giant water slide. The pool layout was also fantastic with more than enough sunloungers so you could find quiet if you wanted to, while still being close to the pool. The pool bar had a fantastic selection of food on offer from luchtime as well as serving coffe/croissants in the morning and ice-creams throughout the day. They were also more than happy to adapt the menu to cater for childrens fussy habits. Mine didn't like "that green stuff" on the pizzas (oregano!).

For evening meals there were four restaurants to choose from. We ate in the Spanish restaurant one evening (La Bodega) and it was gorgeous!!!! We chose to sit outside on the terrace to eat so the children could go off and play. The setting was lovely.

The children's entertainment in the evening was all in German, but it was fun and Lucy loved joining in with the singing and dancing. Children's activities also took place in the pool daily - from swimming lessons to water-polo.

The hotel also had it's own private beach, watersports centre, gym, cinema, nightclub, tennis-courts, mini-golf & supermarket. Basically, it is was the type of resort you would never have to leave if that's what you wanted from a holiday.

El Caleton: An Apartment Apart

About a mile north of the tiny fishing village of El Cotillo is El Caleton, an building with twelve apartments. It is off the grid, so a diesel generator runs from 0830 to 1230 then from 1730 to 2400. Water is also trucked in, so use it sparingly. Our room had two bedrooms, was basic but clean, and was steps away from a beautiful but rugged beach. There are "lagos", tidal pools where the waves don't reach and are swimmable even by small children, but heaven help you were you to get into the surf. No phone, no TV, only you and your partner with the waves to drum you to sleep.

Walk to the beach a few feet away. Expect nudity, or partake yourself. The wind is strong but there are numerous shelters built from the pumice stones that turn a brisk day into a warm sunny one, as well as privacy for the shy nudist. To the inland side, desert and rock. Don't come here expecting a boardwalk or even many other tourists.

Castillo Beach Sol: Nice apartments

This was the first place that i stayed when visiting Caleta. I have since been back there for a second time. Basic apartments but in a nice setting up on the hill overlooking the resort. With 4/5 swimming pools it was never too busy. About a 10 minute walk down to the resort and beach...although a bit of a trek back up the hill in the evening.

Good views, plenty of swimming pools and an on site mini market(bit over priced i think)

Oasis Papagayo: Fun in the sun

The hotel was very clean, the maids came in 5 times a week, and allways asked you if there were anything you needed.Nothing was too much trouble for the staff, they were allways on hand to help or advise.I was very impressed with the 5 pools all very well maintained and child friendly, with life guards watching over constantly for safety.

Caleta de Fustes: Castillo Beach Suites

I think it is a very good choice for single travellers. I paid 23 Euros (reservations via www.bookings.net) for the whole suite. I was very satisfied with the suite. It was cleaned up three or four times a week. It is located far away from the beach. About 1,5 km. The nearest bus stop is about 1 km away from the suite complex. It is close to the airport but you don't hear landing planes during the night.
If you book via www.bookings.net it could be cheaper than booking the hotel direcktly .
There are very good bus conections between Porto del Rosario and Jandia.

Elite Club Montecastillo: Sunny Selling Delights!

The current state of the premises, pool and general surroundings could only be classed as poor, shabby and in general worn out and tired. While we stayed there, some work was being done to tart the place up, but for the price of the holiday we would have expected so much more from a resort with the word "Elite" in it's name.

The GYM mentioned in the brochure is NOT included in your prices and you need to pay an additional 35 euros to use the facilities for the week. We did not bother because the equipment looked pretty poor, and not worth the money being asked for it's use.

General facilities around the pool area were zero. No bars open, showers did not work, in general shoddy.

Across the road was the Zanzibar, and was a very nice place to sit in as long as you did not go in mid afternoon when the time share people appeared and talked a load of tripe with their loud voices and well polished teeth. It's funny, I was reminded of Jaws when I watched them all talking over each other, getting slowly drunk, and talking shop.. A pity they never thought of people like us listening to their banter... We certainly heard a few tale that would make interesting blogging!!!
