I stayed here the first time I visited the island. A great location right on the beach at Los Cristianos. It also has a lively bar called Munroe's , swimming pool and has stunning views across Los Cristianos.

    Me outside the hotel

This was a cheap late deal but the Hotel was really nice, the reception was very welcomming & it was very clean. We were on sixth floor so got a nice view from the balcony. They were some bulinding work going off outside as this is a new resort but nothing bothered us during our stay.

The food at the hotel varied each night, some nights it was great food but other nights it wasnt so nice so we would go across the road for steak & chips plus a free beer/wine for only 5 Euros. The best thing at the hotel was the breakfast, they did full english breakfast with proper bacon & sausages, you could also help yourself to cereal aswell as fruit & salad.

The best thing about this hotel was the staff, they were very helpful & all spoke perfect English so you couldnt go wrong with anything. The pool was a good size & there were plenty of sunloungers all around the pool area & terrace. The poolside bar served lovely pizza & chips & the cheese & ham toasties were very tasty.

The only thing the hotel needs its air conditioning, the rooms have fans which dont work that great, they make awful noises during the night when you were trying to sleep but you had to keep it on because it was so hot. But the hotel itself is a great place to stay for a nice weeks holiday.

The resemblances between La Quinta Roja and San Roque are quite notable: both restored old aristocratic mansions of Garachico, both sharing a delicate and romantic decoration, both using red as its primary color. Both quite expensive accommodations, though I guess I could afford this one...

La Quinta Roja is an excellent option for a romantic accommodation in Tenerife. If not as up-market as San Roque, it certainly could compete with that hotel in charm.

This stunning resort on the West Coast of Tenerife is quite definitely the most exceptionally beautiful property in which it has been my pleasure to stay to date. Built on four hundred or more acres of perfectly manicured landscaped gardens, the property descends gradually from the main ‘citadel’ building, through delightful perfumed gardens, through tiers of villas, and eventually down to a semi private man made beach lapped by the clearest Atlantic waters.

Every step through this haven of peace provides a photo opportunity for the most avid photographer. Watch the sun set from the balcony of the Mirador seafood restaurant (or indeed its breathtaking infinity pool); take a stroll through the grounds and delight in the 300 or more species of flora; or just wander through the main building itself and absorb the scents of jasmine and lavender that waft through the evening air. Sit on your balcony and listen to the sounds, because all you will hear is the wind in the trees, the trickle of the waterfalls that cascade throughout the property, and the gentle pop of the champagne corks because Moet is almost de rigueur as the tipple of the day.

Rooms are large and airy with spacious balconies. You will sink into the comfortable beds and the bathroom sports both bath and shower plus double sinks. You won’t sniff at the Loewe toiletries either!

Breakfast is served in the main dining room and, once again, you will find a table laden with bottles of Codorniu (and sometimes even Moet) and freshly squeezed orange juice to start your day just right.

The emphasis here is on comfort and relaxation. You will be surprised when the staff welcome you by name, and ask about you every single day. They recall what you did yesterday, too, so it’s not all a big sham.

The hotel has eight pools, ten restaurants, and they claim to have 5 bars though I definitely counted more. Oops, and did I mention the 18 hole Dave Thomas designed golf course? Indeed, there are so many features of this hotel that I will write seperate tips on each.

We selected this 3* Hotel from a list obtained from the tourist office for its location in Plaza de La Candelaria just off Plaza de España right at the heart of town but near enough for us to carry our bags from the harbour car park.

It was a very lucky choice! The room was quite spacious, very comfortable and very quiet. We had not realised the excellent full buffet breakfast was included in the price.

Central but quiet location; good standard of accommodation; excellent breakfast.
    Several nearby restaurants.

The hotel is located in a beautiful old building from the 18th century with typical wooden balconies and a lovely patio.
Rooms aren't anything special, not very big with tv and fan.
A buffet breakfast is included in the price. There's a restaurant on the premises, but I didn't try it.
The location is perfect, right in the centre of town (but of course that also means that it can get a bit louder).
    I'd definitely stay here again.

    Small swimming pool.
