i stayed in the ac over new year 2007. originally i was booked into the astoria, also in las palmas, however despite having paid-a non refundable-2 week stay there we left after the first night. i shalln't go into detail about the astoria but let's just say that staying next door to a brothel, in what is one of the worst areas i have ever visited was not a good choice-my only excuse is that i made an error whilst booking online!! anyway back to the ac where we subsequently decamped to. it is basically geared up for business people, it appears that a great number of aircrew stay here as well, however i found it a really decent place to stay. the fact that you have 20 odd floors helps as well as there is no noise from outside. the hotel itself is situated close to canteras beach and only a few yards from paque catalina which is a nice plaza to have a coffee or snack in. we stayed on a room only basis and did not eat at the hotel with the exception of breakfast one morning. i suppose if i had a gripe about the ac it is that i thought the breakfast was very poor value for money, although the views from what is-i think-the 25th floor are great. however fear not, as there is a great cafe next door to the hotel, cafe oliver; this place serves the best tortilla you will ever taste, and believe me i know good tortilla. i like a bit of variety but we ate breakfast here every day of the 13 nights we stayed at the ac. back to the ac, rooms were fine and cleaned daily, of course, the staff i found to be helpful and although english was not widely spoken-a good thing if you ask me-we had no problems with any inquires we had. the biggest surprise was that the mini bar was free, or at least soft drinks and beer was. also in the lounge there was free coffee and biscuits, although this service was only during day time hours, nonetheless much welcomed. i would have no hesitation in recommending this hotel for a short stay.

AC hotel room by vanessadb This 4 star hotel is located in the heart of Las Palmas. The interior has been completely done very tastefully and modern. The quality price relation is imho excellent: 45 euros for a single 90 euros for a double
The building is round and thus offers views of the entire city, which you can enjoy from your private balcony or from the magnificent pool on the 26th floor. Theme: HotelPrice: US$40-80 » Currency ConverterComparison: about averageDirections: Center
