Plaza de Santa Ana. by Regina1965
Plaza de Santa Ana is a lovely square opposite The Cathedral Santa Ana right in the centre of Las Palma's old town of Vegueta. Its style is copied by squares which are all over Latin America. The square was built in the 16th century but was restored in the 19th century when number of political demonstrations where held there. It is now ideal for outside-concerts and meetings.
At the main entrance opposite The Cathedral there are several bronze statues of dogs.
