Santa Ana Cathedral
Work on the Santa Ana Cathedral began at the start of the 16th century in the purest Gothic style. However, its construction was repeatedly interrupted and was not finished until practically four centuries later, though by then neoclassical influences had left their mark on the new facades. In the different Cathedral chapels important works of art are kept, including various pieces by the religious sculptor José Luján Pérez. Located in the southern wing of the cathedral is the Diocesan Museum which houses numerous highly valuable works from the last four centuries.
