Considering the Nh Playa Las Canteras in Las Palmas de Gran Canaria?

If you want to have the sensation of being at the desert without going there, this is the place to be, kilometers full of sand dunes. You probably might have more difficulty finding the camels and nomads :) not so warm as it might be in the real desert. Great experience - a must once you are there. These dunes form a part of the natural reserve of Maspalmas and is therefore protected area and has special attention from the authorities in its preservation and care.
