Puerto de Mogán is a lovely town just 25 minutes' drive from Playa del Ingles on the south-west coast of Gran Canaria. It is surrounded by steep mountains and has a lovely little beach with golden sand from Sahara.

Puerto de Mogán is such a lovely little picturesque town, it is just pure delight to visit. It is often called Little Venice as it has got lots of canals (see my tip). This town is known to have the best climate in Gran Canaria and here you can see lemon trees and palms filled with coconuts (see pictures in a travelogue here).

By the harbour there are many yachts and boats, restaurants and cafés and lovely walks. From the harbour leaves "The Yellow Submarine", which is a submarine which takes people for a ride under the sea.
