Nice german run budget hotel
This clean well run (with precision) establishment has a great sunny roof terrace and a lot of small rooms mainly twins and tripples but some 4 bedded apts.too .Breakfast is continental and pricey for what you get,although it is self service and coffeè/tea refills are aplenty ,however you can get a really big cheap cooked scottish ,english or American breakfast at several nearby British pubs .e.g.The sunray or the Edinburgh castle on the other side of the square.Burger king ,in the square is also a cheaper option than the in house which comes in at 4 euros for continental.
A lot of the rooms face inward.
Unique Quality: central location and the people who run it as well as the type of guests it attracts artisan / student /intrepid travellers . A nice cosmopolitan mix.
