I had a room with a beautiful view of the ria, the castle, and the bridges, but at a cost: the street facing views are *extremely* noisy, so it may be best to ask for a room away from the front of the street. The walls are a bit thin, however the staff is so fantastic that I would not hesitate to stay there again.
-Easy walk from the bus terminal, but with a caveat: If you print your map you will see a bridge you need to cross, be careful and don't cross the most obvious bridge, the long bridge right by the bus station - this is the WRONG bridge. Stand so you are facing the ria. You must go left staying along the ria, then after you walk a ways you will see a smaller bridge which is not obvious from the bus station - this is the RIGHT bridge, much shorter. Just follow the edge of the water during your walk. Hotel Villa San Vicente will be at the end of the bridge, diagonally across if you stayed on the right hand side when crossing the bridge.
-Great view: It is near the center of town, allows a beautiful view of the ria.
-The staff : They are *WONDERFUL*, helpful, accomodating. There is a supermarket nearby, and they will place items in the refrigerator. They are welcoming, and so eager to make your stay pleasant that they make it worth the stay.
-Noise: Unfortunately, it is a bit noisy. Not sure if a back room will be best because I did not ask to be moved. Once the traffic settles down you can sleep well, but the front view rooms are very noisy! If noise is an issue, you may want to look into the Miramar.
- Do note there is no air conditioning. I am used to having the AC on all the time, and although my visit was early August, I did not miss the A/C at all.
