The rooms are large, wooden floored, big bathrooms with excellent showers and very clean. The staff, of which we met 4, were all very friendly and helpful, however only one spoke English. Not a problem as we were happy to practice our Spanish.
The hotel is well situated with lots of bars / cafes nearby and a couple of supermarkets around the corner. The train / bus station is a 5 minute walk and the main city centre, shops etc is a pleasant 10 minute stroll. I would recommend this hotel to anyone and dont be put off by the fact that it is only 2 star. I assume this is because it does not have many facilities, but the rooms are top notch. No lifts however, so pack lightly.
