Oropesa Hotels

Oropesa Parador.: Parador in a medieval castle.

We didn't stay here but had a lunch on our way from Extremadura to Madrid.

The Parador is in a castle from the 14th. C. which offers exceptional panoramic views of the Gredos mountains.
It seemed very attractive with a large private parking and a swimming pool.
Nice interior decoration.
Only 6 Km from the highway and outside the centre of Oropesa (where there is apparently not much to visit).
It seemed to me a nice medieval type hotel as a stop for travellers to the South-West of Spain. (170 Km from Madrid Airport).
