Just walking around!
by Jefie
What I enjoyed the most during my day-trip to Toledo was to walk aimlessly around the city. It's like everywhere you look you uncover a treasure that was meant to be found only by you :o) Although it's easy to get disoriented, you can never truly get lost in the old city because it is fairly small, and soon enough you'll stumble upon a well-known monument. So if you go to Toledo, put on a pair of walking shoes, fold your map, and find your own treasures!
generous surroundings

lot's of natur and small villages around Toledo, where the people are friendly and hospitable. but it is also one of the poorest stretches of Spain, away from the Tourist stream, maybe that's the charm of it all the Cathedral made a big impression on me, so did the Paintings of El Greco.
Follow the signs

You can get easily lost in Toledo, due to its narrow streets that all seem the same after a while. But there are signs all around showing you the way to the main attractions.
A map is useful too :-))
The Osborne Bull
by keeweechic
Travelling through La Mancha country you will suddenly come across large silhouetted bulls standing at around 14metres high, usually on a bit of a hill for effect. Known as the Osborne Bull because it was started originally by a company called Osborne Sherry who started to put them around the countryside in 1956 to advertise their Brandy de Jerez. When a law was passed to ban this kind of advertising, there was an outcry to removing the bulls altogether and so just the advertising was blacked out
Lladró

Though I don't personally like them, many tourists (specially from USA) ask for these little figures, so I thought it would be interesting to put a tip on them.
The shop is between the San Juan de las Duenas church and the Cambron Gate.
