This hotel is situated on Los Cigarrales, about a 15 mins walk to Toledo. Being on a higher level, a view of Toledo from the hotel is breathtaking.

Fom the front gate, you walk a long trail amidst the lovely garden of La Almazara, with juniper and olive trees amongst others, and feel as though you are on a country retreat.

This house is built in 1584 as a summer residence and was apparently visited often by El Greco, a famous Spanish painter. Some of El Greco's works of art can be found in churches of Toledo.
