Toledo Imperial Hotel
On Calle Horno de los Bizcochos are a couple of hotels. The Toledo Imperial opened in 2002 and is a 3 star hotel in the historic part of the city centre. They offer 29 rooms which are made up of family rooms, triples as well as doubles and singles. All rooms have heating, aircon, TV and bathrooms with hairdryers. Some of the rooms face the Alcazar. The offer offers a buffet breakfast and there is 24 hr room service.

We stumbled upon the Hotel Toledo Imperial web site by accident - and glad we did. Central location and only 5 minutes walk to the main square and about 10 minutes walk to most of the attractions of amazing Toledo.
Room and bathroom was bigger than many hotels we stayed in and well-appointed. Breakfast included in price and served in their own breakfast room.
Located right across the square from the famous Alcazar (closed at the time of our visit) the square was known in ancient times as "The place of the beasts," as it was the place where animals were bought and sold.

next to the alcazar
the toledo imperial hotel is located across the street from the alcazar and is walking distance to most of the attractions of toledo. the rooms were spartan but clean and comfortable. the front desk help was friendly and was happy to answer my questions. one important thing is that parking is at a premium in the old part of toledo and there was a parking garage just a half a block away which was very helpful. because of it's excellent location i would recommend it.
