I arrive in Burgos in Mid July. Does anyone know of any places i can obtain a pilgrims passport in the area?
Re: Pilgrims Passport?
I don't know the answer to your question, but between the tourist office and the cathedral it shouln't be too hard to get the information when you get there.
Re: Pilgrims Passport?
It would be best to ask questions about the Camino on forum about the walk. Here is a web site that links to a lot of information in English.

Travel Tips for Burgos
The towns statue of El Cid.
Located at the Plaza del Cid, this statue commemorates one Spain´s most famous hero´s. Rodrigo Diáz de Vivar or as he was better known El Cid Capeador. He probably had conflicting loyalties sometimes fighting against the Spanish king Alfonso VI, sometimes fighting with him. He was the commander of the army that took Valencia in 1094, but died one year later in 1095. Its said that his body was placed on a horse and taken out of the city so that the Moors would not realise he was dead. His body was returned to Burgos, where his bones became religious relics.
Later poems and stories were written about him of attributing fantastical feats and he became the legend he is today. You may recall the Hollywood Movie `El Cid´, played by Charlton Heston and co starring Sophie Loren.
His bones were finally laid to rest in a tomb in the cathedral in 1921.
The main square of Burgos located near the cathedral. An underground car park has recently been built under the Plaza, but when we were there in Dec 2004 work was just about complete and they were just finishing the paving. In fact we found the location of the new car park central and useful as there was not much parking in the city.
A number of architectural styles can be seen in its surrounding building, the most notable being the Casa Consistorial in neoclassical style of the 18th century. The square also has a statue of King Carlos III erected in 1774.
Passed through Burgos while on the Camino de Santiago (The Way of St. James)
Its a charming little place, and with the lack of tourists in the province you'll see the real Spain, full of culture and art.
