Not far from the Cathedral starts the area called Old Town of Leon.You'll find some narrow streets and a few interesting things to see.Don't miss a visit to Leon's Parlament Building,there are also some guided tours and in English available aswell.Walking by the old and new cities you'll find also some rotundas or squares with a nice fountain on it like this one.
There is a place in the old town called "Barrio Humedo" (Wet Quarter) it is named this name because the numerous bars and restaurants that you can find walking by the narrow streets.This is a very nice place of the city to try some of the Spanish Tapas or a nice meal,you'll find a lot to choose from!!.
