El Pantano de Burguillo, Ávila and surroundings (It is on your way to San Juan de las Navas, near El Tiemblo and Cebreros villages). You can have a wonderful pic-nic on the grass near the water while seeing the sailing ships. ENJOY IT !!

On Saturday mornings the Plaza Mayor bustles to life. Vendors selling fresh fruits, veggies, meat, and poultry set up alongside vendors selling pets and scarves. I found this little market SO delightful, since I seemed to be the only tourist there.
The arrival
The 11 hour journey involved a filthy night train, zero sleep.... and it was a decidedly chilly morning after the sweltering heat of Barcelona!! It was too early to check into the hostal and the unfortunately the place we chose for breakfast was pricey! BUT...I immediately liked León!!
