by BelsaitaThe hotel is located in the historical centre of Salamanca, and it includes a significant part of the building of the Salamanca's "Colegio Maestro Avila" at the Square of San Blas. A large part of the 16th century old building has been respected. It was the first university college in Salamanca. Inside, you'll find a totally remodeled hotel, with all modern facilities.
I cannot speak about restaurant/breakfast as I did not use these.
As a summary, a standard 4-star hotel, mainly business oriented, but in a charming building, a few minutes walking from the Plaza Mayor and other sights. Good Special offers booking trough Abba's webpage, for instance the "Abba Ticket" Double room 59,00 euros (+ VAT). Valid for weekends, long weekends, Easter, summer and Christmas, check availability of this offer on other dates.
