Contemporary building (ugly).
This Parador is a contemporary building which deserves no photo given its lack of architectural charm (euphemism to say ugliness).
The interest of this hotel lies in the fact that it is located in Salamanca, one of the most beautiful cities of Spain.
It is situated in a modern district on the other side of the river Tormes. The private car park is easy but as the hotel is farther of the town centre than indicated on the map it necessary to take the car to go in town and to face the problems of parking in the historic centre of Salamanca.
By itself the hotel is comfortable according to its classification **** but the rooms with sight on the old city have small windows what is a regrettable architect's choice.
I staid in a dozen Paradors and this one is of a great banality, fortunately that there is the magnificent town of Salamanca.

Worst Parador but geat view
the view from the hotel bedroom is astounding. the hotel is situated across the gorge from Salamanca and the view of the two cathedrals in the setting sun is sooo good! the hotel itself was expensive and not good value for money - a concrete nightmare to be frank
