When I booked the hotel I was just looking
after my wallet.
In general I like a hotel to be clean ,
a nice shower , and a good location.

This hotel has those qualities.
The location is just perfect. The bus from
the airport just stops round the corner
where the bus station is and the trainstation
is just steps away.

From our bedroom we could have an
overvieuw from the churches and
the parc was just down the street.

The hotel has no special (historic) charm.

A weekend rate!!!
It would have been out of our budget otherwise. If we had to pay the full amount
I would have preferred a hotel with more
interesting architecture.

In Valladolid we stayed in a hotel from the Nh chain - Nh Ciudad de Valladolid. It is a comfortable 4 star hotel, located outside the city centre on a residential neighbourhood. It is also situated by an Exhibition Centre, therefore I assume that when major Fairs and Exhibitions take place it might get over booked. Service is good, the staff is helpful and rooms are very comfortable. It also has private garage.

Hotel Parque

We stayed for three nights in this hotel. The location of the hotel is just perfect. Very close to the city center, a walk trough the city park and you're there. The bus station is just around the corner of the hotel. The train station is a five minutes walk. The staff was very friendly. The rooms have everything you need for a short break, a complete bathroom, satellite TV etc. If you like to have a nice view over the city, ask for a room on one of the higher floors.

Maybe one of the best options quality-price, although you have to cross the river to arrive to the city center (10-15 minutes walking). New hotel, NH style, full of small details.

Right behind the Main Square and City Hall, right in the Zona de Vinos (area full of restaurants and bars for "tapas"). This is a classical hotel (not new but reformed some years ago). A liitle bit expensive for the instalations it has but great location.
No free parking around (the hotel is in a pedestrian street), although there are 2 parkings next (but you have to pay).

My favorite accomodation is www.bancotel.com you get bonus to stay in diferent hotels (3,4 starts) for only 50 euros the double room per night, great value and quality!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I always reccomend this hostal to people that visit Valladolid. It is situated in the very old center of Valladolid, near the cathedral and La Antigua, the Plaza Mayor and other nice monuments in the town.

The rooms are clean and there is air acconditioned (such a nice invention in the warm spanish summers...). I am not very sure of if there is restaurant inside, but you can have a tasty breakfast in a cafe nearby.

The price is quite low: from 44-50 euro individual room to 60-66 double room.

Hotel El Nogal

I had a great time here. the staff were very helpful and spoke english if needed. It's very central and surrounded by bars and restaurants

Check out the super shower! You have to see it to understand! Lots of space in the rooms and also great stocked mini bar and television with cable. Internet access for your laptop if you need and a radio in all the rooms.
