Travel Tips for Valladolid

See a Real Valladolid game at...

by jwquixote

See a Real Valladolid game at Zorilla (Aupa Pucela!!!)
After the game go to El Cuadro for a few drinks and dancing at the club. My favorite is La Vieja... The day I got to Valladolid...it was the first day I spent in a foreign country. All day just walking around in awe of everything I saw. My first meal in Spain was 'Calamares' (Squid) boiled in it's own ink. The tentacles were sticking out and everything. To be polite with my host family I ate every bite...Delicioso!!!

CASTLE OF PEÑAFIEL

by Carmela71

Just between Aranda de Duero and Valladolid.

All this area is famous as well for the wine yards denomination 'Ribera del Duero', where you will be able to visit some of the best 'bodegas and wines'.

Plaza de Espa?a

by zindara

This square was reformed some years ago. In the mornings from monday to saturday you will find a fruit market here. In the evenings, it is a meeting-point, and a nice square.
The main monument is this fountain-globe, that converts this "Spanish square" in a "World's Square".

GREGSF's new Valladolid Page

by GREGSF

I was married to a valladolisa women. I regularly visited it for nearly ten years so its almost my second home. The best tapas place is bar jacob in the calle peru off acera recollatos in front of the campo grande.
The best bodegas are near the town of fuensaltans 15 mins from town centre. The best cheap accom. is near the plaza major.
