Montserrat des Marques de Tamarit
If you are traveling-over -stop , get out of the car and look around in this architectonic jewel. There is a church from Sant Marti of the 17th century. The center is best restauratedwith the rests of the old castle, the city-hall, Casa Consistorial and Carrer la Placeta.
If you are interested in historical things: there is the excavation of the roman villa Els Munts, one of the most important cultural memorial in the region of Tarragona.
7 Km from Tarragona. Roman style, built in the 2nd century by Sr. Claramunt and sold later on in the same century to Sr. Montoliu, who later adopted the name Tamarit. It has National heritage protection and is presently owned by a Sr. Deering.
