Some time ago Argentona was well known by the magic propierties of its water. People came to the town just to fill bottles of water of the fountains, specially "Font Picant", because they say that this water cure. The true is that this water was of very good quality, was medicinal mineral water that was generated in the mountains. Nowadays these fountains still have water, and people go there to fill bottles too, but now are not anymore turists, just people from the village.
I recommend you to take a walk in the mountains, and try to discover these "hided" treasures, and refresh yourself with cold water. A local group called "Grup de les Fonts" is restaurating some fountains from some years ago, and they are doing a great work.
