Great Hotel for Visiting Barcelona

Great (4.0 of 5.0 stars)
by written on August 27, 2007

Stayed in the Abba Sants for one night on a trip to Barcelona. Nice, clean, comfortable, modern hotel near the Sants train station. Offered a good buffet breakfast as a part of the room rate. Concierge was very helpful in recommending restaurants and attractions. Would definitely recommend this hotel.

Unique Quality: Very close to main Barcelona train station that lets you get in and out of the city to other parts of Spain and Europe. Also close to one of the main subway stops in the city making it very easy to get around the city.

Comfy and convenient

An excellent hotel in a superb location. Abba Sants Barcelona is an excellent hotel. Lovely rooms with plush bathrooms and a breakfast buffet to die for. I absolutely loved this hotel although the only thing I was dissapointed with was the fact that they didn't have a pool.

Directions: Right outside the sants metro station.

I received an excellent level of service at the Abba Sants Hotel, and found the buffet to be of a very good standard. The rooms are spacious and comfy, if a little expensive. But it was worth the extra cost!

Unique Quality: The Abba Sants was opened in 2000, and boasts 145 rooms. Certain areas are remniscant of the style of Gaudi, which was interesting and served to remind me that I was in Barcelona.

Well Connected Hotel

Imagine this. You arrive in Barcelona using the railways on the ground floor. Then you check in on the 2nd floor. Then you go down to the basement to the metro station to take off exploring!

If you would like to save a few euros, Hotel Expo is just a block away from the railway station. Costs around 80 euros. (Sants is around 120 euro for a double room).
