We have stayed a week in this nice hotel. The room was not too big, in my opinion But was clean, and good soundproofing, regarding the busy street downside.The breakfast was wonderful.Competent and helpful reception staff.
Unique Quality: In the middle of Barcelona - 1 min. to Placa Catalunia and Rambla.

Hotel Atlantis, a great place to stay in Barcelona
We ordered our rooms through www.hrs.de, and I think we got a better deal here, than if you had booked at the hotel website. Paying less than €70 a night is nothing less than a bargain. Enjoy Food & Travel strongly recommends this hotel and we will tell you why!
I had asked for a quiet room, and if it had not been for a fan outside my window, it would have been very quiet. Room 310, faced a small and narrow passage in the middle of the building providing fresh air, but not much light. It had TV with spanish, german, and french channels, BBC World and Sky News, and a well filled minibar. The bathroom had beautiful marble tiles, with a bathtub (great) and a bidet, all very well maintained and clean.
The breakfast was included in our price. It is, however, not included if you book at the hotel web-site. The breakfast buffet should cater to any taste. Scrambled eggs, bacon, sausages, potato croquettes, and fried mushrooms. Cheese, and cured meats, as well as muesli and jam. Brown and fine bread, rolls and pastry. Coffe, tea and hot milk (great). Youghurt and juice. The orange juice was a little thin. All in all, the breakfast will provide you with all the energy you need until lunchtime.
Unique Quality: The breakfast-room is a little small. Close to the breakfast room you'll find comfortable white sofas and a free WLAN for the guests. For those of you travelling without your computer, there is a PC for guests in the reception area, free of charge. There is a small bar, that also serves snacks until 10.30 PM. There are also comfortable sofas at designated areas at every floor.

Good hotel!
We stayed here for 4 nights I think, and it was no problem at all with the hotel. The staff was frendly and good, we never had any problem with them and they were happy to help. I'm very particular about my food, so I must say that the food could be better.
In the hotel there was a mixture of old, young middle aged people and families and couples, but there were never a problem with drinking and partying and so on.
Our room was big enough for two girls. the toilette and shower was very good and all in all everything was great for us :)

Best one was the Atlantis...
Best one was the Atlantis Hotel off La Rambla- first class hotel with marble bathroom- cheap especially during off seasons.
When I was there in November, we paid $60 for a double with twin beds and free breakfast.
