Imagine every time you roll over in bed, Rolf Harris plays a wobble board made of sheet metal in your ear. Then imagine 15 other people in the same room as you, with a similar cause and effect. Let's just say it was very hard to sleep once my walkman batteries ran out.
Apart from that, the hostel was ok. Reasonably friendly staff, breakfast was adequate, and the location is good.
Nice bar around the corner, too.
The one serious problem with this hostel outweighs the good, unfortunately, and I cannot recommend it. I regularly stay in hostels because they are a cheap place to sleep. Here, I was unable to do so.
