Hello,
We will be in Barcelona March 14th and would appreciate some insight into what type of clothing we should pack. We will be traveling also to Madrid, Granada and Seville.
We have really appreciated the excellent insight provided on previous questions!

My son was in Barcelona at the end of March 2008 and it was quite cold and a bit windy. Since we are from Miami, we are not used to the cold, and he definitely needed a coat. Granada and Seville might be a little warmer.
March is an unpredictable month, in Barcelona days may be warm and sunny or cold and windy, or rainy (or all of the above in the same day). Plus you are traveling to different areas of Spain with very different climates. You should pack to be prepared to wear in layers, so you can adjust to any weather.

Just to add that Granada it's up the mountains and it will be most likely colder than anywhere else on your trip (temperatures below 32°F/0°C in Granada in March are not usual, but not unheard of). Sevilla will be most likely warmer. Madrid weather may be... anything.

Check out the website www.wunderground.com. It will tell you the current weather of anywhere in the world and there is a section bottom left that will tell you the weather of any day in the past and the average temperature that day.
There are so many places to go to and of course it all depends on you intrerest, I definetly got most into Antonio Gaudi and all his buildings, I would say going to see everything that this man designed, the Gaudi park, Sagrada di Famiglia I was so astonished.... My fondest memory of Barcelona I really can´t, in one week it all faded into one big dream.

The many buskers provide good entertainment in the many tourist areas of the city. Colourful people and usually good music will grab your attention. The buskers are a common site at the many bus stops on the tourist route, they know how to make money in crowded places = if you like what you hear toss a Euro in the bag as it is passed around the crowds.
Yes, it will be a pain to get to, I think we took the metro and at least one bus. But it is worth it! Just about everything in Parc Guell is covered in colorful mosaic, and you also have great panoramic views of Barcelona. Eat first, because I don't recall any restaurants nearby. It was in a residential area.
For the best men & women clothes I advise you the side-streets of Las Ramblas.
On the left side you have some great extravagant and stylefull shops, it's all situated in the Barrio Gothico where the people with creative minds live.
