We simply loved this hotel , the staff, the restaurant & the swimming pool from the roof terrace!
In an elegant building dated from 1926 which has been completely renovated, the hotel has amazing views of the Gothic Quarter and the Cathedral - specially from the top terrace. The spacious rooms are a perfect combination of contemporary style with great attention to design.
The breakfast at Actual restaurant & café was simply amazing with an incredible variety of tapas - loads of fresh fruit, 6 kinds of chese, 6 kinds of spanish jamon, 6 kinds of breads, plenty of salads and vegetables, paradise for croissant, pain au chocolat and brownies...well my mouth is watering only when im thinking of it...and well the iceing on our breakfast cake was cava at discretion:)!
I could see some talented hands of an expert in the Mediterranean Cuisine - Ramon Freixa at this Barcelona hotel.
