LA BOQUERIA in the RAMBLAS is without a shadow of a doubt the best place to buy fresh food, vegs, meat, fish, cheese, dried fruit, nuts and oh, so much more and everything is high quality!
One of the best DELICATESSEN (there are many!) is GRAN COLMADO on Consell de Cent 318 For chocolate and ice cream you go to ESCRIBà, the shop with the modernista-façade, RAMBLAS 83.

CATALONIAN PYRENEES
Go to Taull, the next village up from Boi. It actually has two pre-9th Century Romanesque churches.
There is a lot of building going on and although it is generally in good taste, it is better to go sooner than later! Getting off the bus near Sant Climent in Taull in time for breakfast.

Figueres- Teatre-Museu Dali
by mella77
A beautifull place, a little town full of charm... Tourists come and go just to see Dali's museum and forget 2 admire Figueres for itself... Figueres is more than the place where Dali lived his childhood... In the midle of the town is a place named Placa Catalunya where we went in an old bar, with a sign of "english spoken", very picturesque... We have nice memories from Figueres...
PYRENEES

PYRENEES
I went by bus from Graus (on the road from Barbastro to Benasque) to Pont de Suert at about 4pm on a September afternoon which was very different from anywhere else around and well worth seeing. There is one fabulous gorge near Pont de Suert. It is so offbeat that I was the only passenger! If it no longer runs, this trip will depend on private transport but we can always hope. No pictures so photo unconnected. (church entrance in Ainsa.)
