    • Great location, clean, safe. Our room was interior and very quiet. There was a fan and a safe, TV, toilet and seperate shower. All that for 50 euros a night (in July).

    • Great location, friendly staff and clean rooms make this pension a great option. It is near Antonio Gaudi's Casa Batllo in the Eixample district, a fairly safe area at night. We stayed a few nights in an interior room and some on the street side with a balcony. The interior room definetly offered a quieter night's sleep. It cost around $35 a night for two people.

    No frills here. A teeny elevator to get your luggage upstairs can be interesting.

    I spent 10 nights here and would definitely stay again. The location is excellent and the amenities are basic though comfortable. There was a shower and sink in the room and a toilet down the hall and a balcony overlooking the intersection of Rambla de Catalunya and Consell de Cent. It can be noisy so don't forget the earplugs. There is no food service but there are cafes and bars galore up and down the street.

    This is just an old funky hotel - my kind of place.
