Cheap, Nice comfort Hostal

A Spanish Hostal is similar to a hotel, but it has a more familiar atmosphere and is usually much cheaper.

Beware, as many hostals might not match your comfort expectations but if you're looking for something than a youth hostel but can't quite afford a regular hotel (most of them are really expensive especially in downtown Barcelona).

Unique Quality: This Hostal Paris, located a couple of steps away from La Rambla, the most famous and popular Avenue of Barna, is very cosy, staff is nice and helpful, speaks rather good English ( quite exceptional for Spanish folks).

A great opportunity if you're looking for cheap housing. Count 25€ per night for a single room, 45€ for double with bathroom. Otherwise you can still rent a double bedroom for less than 45€ and use the main bathroom (one or two on each floor, cleaned on a regular basis).

Wonderful Hostel

This hostel is in a little nook off of Las Ramblas. While it isn't cheap, it isn't expensive. I spent my first day searching for a cheaper place and couldn't. Well, maybe a few euros but it couldn't beat the location.

Unique Quality: It has a totally bohemian feel to it with great windowsill. I spent a lot of time sitting on ours, writing in my journal. Yes, I was that corny but it fit the time. Other rooms have balconies. The people who work there are very nice, especially if you try to speak to them in Spanish. They let us stay in our room for hours after checkout with out paying extra. It's close to everything, has clean sheets, and a very cool lounge area to hang out.

Re: hotels In Valladolid

by fernanss

Hi,
I don´t know people who have been in there, but I´ve found a web with opinions of both of them: Paris and Val: http://www.ciao.es/Hostales_Pensiones_2020_6
I have no time to translate the whole opinions. One of the opinions says that the relation quality-price is really good in Hostal Paris and is better than low-category hotels. Both of them are in the center of the Valladolid.
I hope this web could help you. As well, you can try writing in the forum of Valladolid Council´s web: http://www.ayto-valladolid.net In the right you have a link "Foros the dicusión" and them you have a General room to write your message.
