Hostal Barcelona

by written on August 26, 2002

The hostel has been recently renewed, so the rooms, are new, spacious, modern and confortable. It has 63 rooms, with or without private bathroom, with color TV, heating and air conditioning. It is located in the city center, next to one of the most famous avenues, Paral-lel, where you can find most of theaters and nightlife.

Unique Quality: Nothing much unique apart from being very cheap. The rooms are clean and you have your own bathroom which is quite spacious I must say. The beds are not too big, but big enough. There is a very friendly staff and most of them speak english.
This property is a hostal and therefor doesn't have any dining facilities. But who wants to eat in their hotel anyway it's much nicer to eat something in the city.

Directions: Coming out of the metro at Paral-lel you should see a little square. There you have a street called Roser. Halfway along the street you see the hostel on your right.

It's quite affordable at $45 CND ($27 USD, 31 Euros)

Unique Quality: Simple but clean with a television (not that I watched), a private bathroom and shower. I had plenty of room in my double bed. Friendly people.

Directions: Roser, 40
A 15-minute walk from the Ramblas.
Near Paral.lel metro.
