A Luxurious Hotel

My stay at the Luxurious Arts Ritz Carlton was most rewarding. We arrived late from a delayed train ride from Madrid, Spain and the Hotel Staff were most gracious and accomodating. The service and the hotel amenities were the best. We stayed on a top floor and had a fantastic view of the city. overlooking miles of Barcelona beachfront and the grand vista of Port Olimpic. There was 24-hour personalized service, stunning, 43rd story spa and innovative dining in five restaurants, beauty salon, outstanding lounge and bar area, out side pool and the decor was extremely well presented.

Unique Quality: Fantastic view of the Harbour and our room was immaculate.

Really a 5-Star hotel in Spain

It’s an amazing hotel located at the beach. It is at a short walking distance from metro and is really a 5-star hotel in Spain. I enjoyed staying there a lot.

Top Hotel, high end

The Arts Hotel is beautiful and the staff are gracious. I enjoyed my stay and had great accomodations with a great view of the sea and the city. The hotel provided an electrical converter which very helpful. The room was spacious for Spain.

Unique Quality: I appreciated the electric blinds in the room that provided a great blackout shade for sleeping in.

Tall and Glorious

Hotel Art of Barcelona was the sun after the rain .Specially if you made a wrong deal with a wrong agency and if you want to find really a good room in the middle of a international meeting in Barcelona only money talks !!! .And the hotel Art of Barcelona is the right place where money talks .The hotel is five star hotel in the area called Parc Olimpico and the building is maybe the first or the second highest building in the city with a casino facility

Unique Quality: good staff ,good people and beautiful casino aswell

The BEST hotel...ever

What does this hotel not have?? It's right on the beach, it has a pool, spa services, 4 restaurants...I think, spacious rooms, sound system by Bang & Olufsen.

Unique Quality: I've stayed at 5 star hotels all over the world and I gotta say, this is probably the best one to date.

Everything was impeccable, everything. And they got the "rain shower" in the bathroom

The Lap of Luxury

What can I say about staying in a five star hotel? That is was fabulous! This hotel is a little out of the way, close to the Mediterrean shore, but worth the time it takes to get downtown. Luxurious, classy, with great showers, this was one of the nicest hotels Ive ever stayed in. It didnt hurt that I didnt have to pay for it though! I was on an invited trip.

True 5 star hotel

True five star hotel, I had a specific need, and was met by the General Manager upon check in. The accomodations are excellent as is the service; perfect for business. It is a few minutes by taxi to the Ramblas.

Hotel by the sea

Hotel Arts is also the Ritz-Carlton in Barcelona. Great hotel with great facilities. On the shores of the Mediterranean and overlooking Port Olimpic, it is enjoys a spectacular beachfront location near Barcelona's finest shops and restaurants. (no need to eat in the hotel!)

Unique Quality: They must be a supporter to the Bang and Olufsen entertainment system, because all the phones in the pubic area are B&O phones. Inside our room, the TV and CD player are also B&O. Lovely!

The staff are all so friendly. I remembered being unable to book my Euro-rail tickets from Madrid to Portugal from Singapore (our route was fly SIN-BAR, then fly BAR-MAD, the rail MAD-Lisbon) due to the online booking system's failure. But locally, it is ok. We called the hotel concierge and they happily made the bookings for us, and charge in advance to our room!

If you can afford it, why not?

As I mentioned, if you can afford it, why not stay at the Ritz Carlton of Barcelona? The hotel was beautiful, the staff attentive and the panoramic views gorgeous... I was lucky that I went on this trip for free and didn't have to cough up $300 per night.

We stayed on the 9th floor with a beautiful panoramic view of the mediterranean sea. I just loved how the window opens up with a push of a button and *voila* nothing but clear blue sea for miles and miles to see.

The hotel had a huge collection of paintings adorned everywhere and a neverending supply of fresh tulips and apples to greet you every morning!!!

Oh, and I just couldn't stop playing with the badette... not that I used it or anything!

Unique Quality: Other amenities that the Hotel Arts had was the huge outdoor pool in front of the boardwalk. Also, if you like to gamble, there is a casino adjacent to the hotel. (Tip: if you would like to go downstairs where the real games are, just bring your passport [along with a buddy--the offer is for two people] and your fee will be waved!)

I also loved that the hotel was located right in the heart of Puerto Olimpico where the night life was happening! Hundreds of fresh seafood restaurants that turn into bars late at night!!! But of course, the only downside were the price--you were in touristville of course! I still can't get over how a $10 dinner in L.A. can cost you $50 over there!!!

Way on the other end of the spectrum

No, of course I didn't stay here. I only know of it because my friend works there as a baker. If you've got the kind of dough to stay in a place like this, good for you. You'll be plenty insulated from most of the goings-on in the city, but at least you'll be comfy, pampered, and have a nice view to boot.

Personally I think it's an ugly building...don't you? Well, I'm no architect so I really shouldn't critcize I guess. I did like the way it picked up the setting sun, which is the only reason I took the photo.

Unique Quality: The whale sculpture around the back is pretty cool and worth a look.

It looks like that place is all completely booked up. Do you have any other suggestions. Any help would be greatly appreciated from anyone. THanks!
